- Judas asking, Surely not I, what’s the point of that? Was he hoping that Jesus did not know what he had done?
- ‘Grieved and agitated’ — the state of our Lord in the face of impending suffering and separation from the Father
- Was Judas unaffected by the blessing and giving of bread and cup?
- Jesus still called him friend!(?)
- Would the Father have indeed sent the legions of angels if Jesus had to go in this way?
- What did Pilates’ wife dream about? She already called him innocent!
- ‘His blood be on us and on our children!’ — Beautiful irony
- ‘And the last deception will be worse than the first.’ Who is really deceiving who here?
